Beyondly achieve the Investors in People Platinum Award and Investors in Wellbeing Platinum Award

We are delighted to announce that Beyondly has received the esteemed We Invest in People Platinum accreditation, and the We Invest in Wellbeing Platinum accreditation. Only 7% of IIP accredited businesses have attained the Platinum standard, making this an incredible achievement for the company and something to be truly proud of.

Below is a timeline of our Investors in People journey to date:

Our Investors In People Journey (3)

Investors in People (IIP) is an internationally recognised community interest company with a sole mission to make work better. IIP unites organisations committed to putting people and their wellbeing first, improving workplaces and organisational culture, and driving success for employees, customers, and businesses. IIP also fosters learning, collaboration, and support, with a wealth of resources to enable businesses to stay up to date on employee engagement and execute effective people and culture strategies. IIP’s accreditations are recognised on a global scale and provide a simple framework to benchmark the effectiveness of an organisation’s people management practices.

The Platinum awards follow a rigorous assessment carried out by Investors in People. The process involved a combination of meetings, reviews, surveys, interviews, and on-site observations, culminating in the Platinum case being reviewed by an Investors in People panel for final evaluation. A final report was then presented to us, highlighting key findings and performance levels achieved through an analysis based on both Investors in People frameworks: People and Wellbeing. This included assessment survey results and identified strengths and areas for potential development. Our assessor commented, Over the last three years since the last assessment in 2022, you have navigated a change in full business branding from Comply Direct to Beyondly, a change in ownership, and a change in senior leadership, promoting internally to the Managing Director role, and bringing in a new Commercial Director.

Your commitment to consultation on changes that you introduce is impressive. You are thorough in your approach to changing people management practices and make sure that your people have had the opportunity to share their voice.”

Our Talent & Culture Team has been instrumental in achieving these accreditations. Since our last assessment, the team has introduced enhanced maternity and paternity pay, and a life leave policy to better support employees through major life events. The team has also introduced DISC profiling throughout the business to strengthen team dynamics and improve communication, and has refined our reward framework in response to employee feedback and to better meet our business needs. Talent & Culture has also worked hard with delivery teams on organisational structure and team design to facilitate stronger working relationships and better meet the needs of our employees and customers.

The Platinum standard accreditation demonstrates our unwavering commitment to aligning our people and wellbeing strategies to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and empowered every day, and our dedication to continuous improvement.

The assessment offers a valuable opportunity to gather honest feedback from our team and identify key areas for improvement as our business continues to grow and evolve. We were proud to receive such positive feedback from our assessor on our Beyondly values:

“Your values continue to be a ‘constant’ in the business, are at the heart of everything you do, and very much underpin your culture.”

Our impact was also recognised and praised:

“Beyondly continues to have a huge impact on the local community and wider society. Your Impact Report is an impressive read.”

While this fantastic achievement is something to celebrate, our journey doesn’t end here. We hope that we can continue to cultivate a high-performing, sustainable culture where people are empowered to thrive and contribute meaningfully to shared success. We’ve received valuable feedback from the assessment and will continue to reflect and adapt to best support our growing and dynamic workforce at every step in their Beyondly career journey.
