Comply Direct host COP26 roundtable with esteemed panellists

Yesterday (2 November 2021), Comply Direct hosted an online COP26 roundtable focusing on organisational transition to net zero and were joined by guest panellists from Squire Patton Boggs and Crystal Doors

In line with the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in Glasgow, running from 31 October – 12 November 2021, we hosted this roundtable to bring like-minded groups and sustainability professionals together to discuss the opportunities and challenges presented to organisations by the transition to net zero, as well as share ideas and best practice on this topic. The aim of the roundtable is to support companies in aligning their organisational strategy with the global net zero target and contribute to keeping global warming below the disastrous 1.5 degrees which we’re hurtling towards.

Comply Direct’s Managing Director Sarah Foster, and Sustainability Leaders Liz and Susanna, were joined by guest panellists, including a leading environmental lawyer from global law firm Squire Patton Boggs, and Managing Director at furniture component manufacturers Crystal Doors, who is already leading the way in tackling the climate emergency. The discussion is centred around the key goals for the COP26 conference with a particular focus on net zero, and attendees had opportunity to get involved during the broadcast by contributing any questions or thoughts to influence the direction of the session.
