Partner News: The British Toy and Hobby Association’s Make Time 2 Play (MT2P) Campaign

Make Time 2 Play - Spreading the message that play is crucial for a child's development. Here's how you can get involved, whether you are in the toy industry, work with children or indeed are a parent!

Our partner the British Toy and Hobby Association’s (BTHA) Make Time 2 Play (MT2P) campaign is spreading the word that toys and play are crucial components of a child’s healthy development and inspiring parents and carers to engage in play with their children.

Across BTHA's website, social media and through their FREE Make Time 2 Play app, they share crafts and play ideas, inform parents and carers of what the benefits of play are and how play benefits people off all ages, from new born babies right through to grandparents.

This Summer BTHA are working with their members (some of which are also Comply Direct members) to engage in the popular social media takeover weeks. For six weeks (19 July - to 3 September 2019) BTHA will be focusing on six benefits of play; Physical, Social, Creative, Emotional, Behavioural and Inquisitive, and would love for BTHA members to feed into these weeks by sending in social media posts to help promote the play benefits of their products that fit with these themes.

There are many other ways BTHA members can get involved with the campaign, from sponsoring online competitions, to contributing a play idea and having their brand credited on the FREE Make Time 2 Play app.
