On 28 September, our Directors (above) attended the fabulous awards ceremony in London for the CIPD People Management Awards and although we didn't win, we were thrilled to be a finalist in the Best Flexible Working Initiative category. The feedback from the panel of judges about our presentation was very positive and pleasing; they commented:

"Very open with their approach. Simple and effective and it's working. Strong company values around trust and flexibility aligned to that. Always evolving and clearly focused on continuous improvement."

We are delighted to announce that Beyondly has been shortlisted for the ‘Best flexible working initiative’ category in this year's People Management Awards, run by professional body Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)

The CIPD People Management Awards aim to recognise and reward the outstanding people and initiatives that are transforming businesses. Throughout the past challenging year, human resources professionals have faced unprecedented scenarios, going above and beyond to put their people first, so these awards will showcase and celebrate the most outstanding work in people management achieved during this time, across all industries.

CIPD are the leading professional body for experts in people at work globally and are the only body in the world that can award Chartered status to HR and L&D professionals. Beyondly are thrilled to be recognised through shortlist achievement for our investment efforts into our people, by such a prestigious organisation with significant influence internationally. Other finalists in this category include Financial Services Compensation Scheme and South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. The full awards shortlist for all categories can be accessed HERE

Our entry for the ‘Best flexible working initiative’ category is focused on our generous flexible working benefit for staff which covers the reasons we developed this system and the great successes it has achieved since implementation. We introduced this to help staff achieve their desired work-life balance and to increase productivity, motivation and job satisfaction, to ultimately support the aims of our high-performance framework and achievement of the overall business aims and objectives. Since implementation, we continually improve and develop the initiative based on employee feedback, to ensure ongoing optimum benefit for both our people and business.

The next stage of the judging process is to present our entry to a panel of judges over Zoom on 14 July, along with all the other finalists. Following this, the winners will be announced at a black-tie awards ceremony in London at the Grosvenor House Hotel on 28 September.
