Beyondly Successfully Pass B Corp Recertification

We are delighted to announce that Beyondly has successfully recertified as a B Corp, a testament to our long-standing and continued commitment to using business as a force for good. Not only that, but we achieved recertification with an improved score of 98.1, increasing from 85.7 since our initial certification in September 2022 – reflecting both our progress and dedication to embedding sustainability at the core of our business.

B Corps are companies certified by B Lab in meeting the highest standards of social and environmental performance, transparency and accountability. Beyondly are proud to be part of a community of companies who are passionate about reinventing business and united by a commitment to balancing people and planet alongside profit.

Since certifying in 2022, we have continued to grow our social and environmental impact through a range of initiatives, including:

  • Beyondly donate 5% of their annual net profit to selected charities each year, through our Fund for Change programme. In 2024, we donated £278,045 to 17 charities, allowing us to support the amazing work of these causes and help drive meaningful impact.
  • Beyondly has established a number of external partnerships to drive forward its ESG strategy, including WRAP, RECOUP, and the National Oceanography Centre (NOC). Beyondly has worked collaboratively with these organisations to deliver impactful projects with an ESG benefit.
  • To date, 208,341 trees have been planted in the Beyondly Forest – just one action we take towards our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint, and a small act of appreciation for our customers and stakeholders.
  • We conduct materiality assessments every 2 years to help inform ESG focus areas.
  • Since introducing our car share scheme in 2022, we have saved 17,343 miles travelled and 2.3 tCO2e.
  • Cycle to work, electric vehicle and car share schemes introduced.
  • We have reduced our overall emissions by 27% since 2019.
  • 98% of our employees report feeling valued, and 97% feel proud to work for the Beyondly.
  • Inclusive recruitment, enhanced family leave, life leave, ethical marketing, and breastfeeding policies introduced.
  • Reduction of payment gap between highest and lowest paid staff members.
  • Move to a Net Zero office with a ground-sourced heat pump.

Reflecting on the achievement and Beyondly’s journey, Susanna Jackson, our Sustainability Manager & Lead Consultant, commented:

“I’m so thrilled to see the brilliant impact Beyondly is having recognised. The team have worked hard to continuously find ways to improve our environmental and social impact, and even with the rapid growth we’ve had, the B Corp values remain embedded within our culture and core to day-to-day operations.”

We’re incredibly proud to be recognised for the progress we have made over the last 3 years, and the work we have done to help create a better, fairer and more sustainable world for all. Always striving towards further improvement, we are excited to continue on our B Corp journey and grow our impact further.
