Beyondly's continued awards success! We are shortlisted in the HR Excellence Awards
We are so pleased to announce another awards success to add to our multiple other shortlists and wins this year, which is now a shortlist achievement at the HR Excellence Awards 2020 in the Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy category
Now in its 25th year, the HR Excellence Awards is run by HR Magazine and exists to recognise the hard work, determination and passion of the people in HR professions. 2020 has been a year like no other for all businesses and has tested HR in a brand new and incredibly challenging manner. The profession has had to be quick-thinking yet mindful, ruthless yet sympathetic and organised yet malleable. But among the chaos has been plenty of valuable lessons, and despite the challenges, there is lots to celebrate.
The category Beyondly are shortlisted for, the Best Health and Wellbeing Strategy, will award the organisation that provides the most compelling evidence that their strategy for health and wellbeing in the workplace not only works, but that has also created a clear and measurable return on investments made in this area.
Our entry for this category focuses on how Beyondly’s health and wellbeing scheme which was developed on the back of employee feedback, along with the host of benefits staff receive as part of the initiative; including membership to a luxurious wellbeing centre on site, annual sporting challenges entry, opportunity for flexible working and quarterly team building activities, just to name a few. It also outlines the impact and benefits the programme has achieved to date, and the success measures used. Specifically, a few examples of the programme’s positive impact so far are that employee turnover has decreased by over 30%, 75% employees believe the programme has improved morale and the cost of sickness absence per employee has reduced by more than half.
We are thrilled to have been shortlisted alongside large, blue chip brands, including NatWest Group and Department for Work and Pensions.
The Awards organiser said: “This is a tremendous achievement against extremely tough competition. This year we received an astounding number of entries from across the country, so being shortlisted is an incredible feat.”
The awards ceremony will be premiered live as a virtual event on 26 January 2021.
