Environment Agency release the verified recycling data for Q4 2019

On Tuesday 31 March, the Environment Agency released the verified recycling data for Q4 2019

There have been minor changes to the initial progress we saw upon the original unverified data release earlier in March. The main point to note is that recycling levels remain unchanged confirming that all targets have been met, however, there has been a slight update in terms of obligation which alters the final standings a little.

Figures 1.1 and 1.2 below show the updated standings with and without carry in, since our initial analysis of the unverified Q4 data release which can be found HERE

We will soon be running another PRN update webinar for our packaging members on Friday 22 May at 10am during which we’ll share a review of the 2019 recycling performance, as well as touch on pricing and deliver detailed analysis on the Q1 verified recycling data by material, including the UK’s initial obligation for each specific packaging material, as we will have access to this data at that point. You can register your free place on the webinar here: https://register.gotowebinar.com/register/3600944966917505027
