Nation Data reporting was introduced under the packaging Extended Producer Responsibility (pEPR) Regulations to facilitate the tracking of progress to meet packaging waste recycling targets in each UK nation. Producers must submit nation data annually under pEPR, if they place packaging on the UK market that is supplied to end users, or if they import packaging that is later discarded in the UK.
