Comply Direct join the Race to Zero
We are excited to announce that Comply Direct have joined the Race to Zero, a coalition committed to take rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030 and deliver a healthier, fairer zero carbon world overtime. This aligns with Comply Direct's commitment to Net Zero by 2041
Race to Zero is the UN-backed global campaign in line with the Paris Agreement, with transparent action plans and robust near-term targets. The campaign rallies an array of non-state actors, including companies, cities, regions, financial and education institutes, all of which are committed to the same overarching goal: reducing emissions across all scopes swiftly and fairly.
To join the coalition, Comply Direct have met a sequence of criteria, bringing us to the ‘Startling Line’ of the race, followed by a demonstration of ‘Leadership Practices’. Within this criterion we defined procedural steps within our race to net zero and defined substantive areas where networks and initiatives must at least reach the current frontier of best practice and indicate how leaders can push beyond it.
We have joined the coalition alongside over 4,000 other companies, all of which are committed to halving global emissions by 2030 and are very excited by the future of the campaign.
Comply Direct are passionate about tackling the climate and environmental emergency and look forward to reporting on our progress within the Race to Zero campaign.
